December has arrived along with some colder weather. I hope that all of you enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday last week. It is truly a blessing to talk with people at MCS and to hear all the things they are thankful for.
This past Thursday evening we held our first Christmas concert for this year. All of the band students and the secondary choir students performed the songs they had been working on. Each of the groups performed a few songs that reminded us all of what the Christmas season is truly about. They also had some fun as well. I really enjoyed listening to all of the performances. It was evident that the students and Miss Hafemeister had worked hard in preparation for the concert.
The students and teachers are all hard at work finishing up the first semester. The elementary students will have the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping this week at school.
